This course introduces the topic of fire safety in buildings by explaining the fire triangle, transfer of heat, and fire development in an enclosed space. The impacts of fire and buildings on each other are also discussed. This is the first of a series of five courses on fire safety in buildings. Each part may be taken as an individual course. This course was last revised in 2024.
