Description:
Successful sustainable design projects rarely emerge from isolated decision-making. They are shaped through early collaboration, diverse stakeholder input, and strong facilitation practices that bring people into alignment around shared goals. This course is part of a series that explores the role of collaboration in transformative sustainable design. In this second course in the Sustainable Design Collaboration series, we will continue our examination of productive and equitable collaboration processes. We will explore the principle of early engagement and introduce psychological concepts of collaboration. Participants learn practical strategies for managing challenging personalities, encouraging quieter voices, reducing conflict, and facilitating meetings that generate meaningful design outcomes. Each course of this five-part series may be taken individually.
