Description:
The design community has figured out how to satisfy the minimum requirements of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), but what about the spirit of the law? Accessibility is more than dimensions and slopes; it’s a culture. In this course, we will demonstrate how to incorporate inclusive design principles and the needs of the community into project workflows. We’ll finish with a primer on additional accessibility laws that may impact your project.
