Description:

This fifth course in the Design for Net-Zero Energy and Carbon series examines net-zero energy tools. We will explore the strategies, technologies, and software tools essential to designing and managing buildings and communities that produce as much energy as they consume. This course will equip you with practical knowledge of key tools used in energy modeling and performance analysis, and that lead up to renewable energy integration.

Through the course, you'll gain the skills needed to implement NZE strategies in practice. We will cover fundamental concepts of net-zero energy (NZE); introduce simulation software; examine case studies of successful NZE projects; and guide you through the process, analysis, and tools used in NZE.

Each section of this series may be taken as an individual course.
