This course profiles available security equipment and systems for surveillance, detection, and access control functions in buildings. Issues such as functionality, operation, spatial requirements, aesthetic implications, and cost are addressed, along with other design and selection considerations. This course is part of an eight-part series that covers concepts, principles, and processes for incorporating enhanced security into the design of new and existing buildings.
