Description:
This course looks at the HVAC system as a source and pathway for indoor air contaminants, reviewing problematic areas and providing HVAC solutions for producing healthful indoor air. The course also reviews the impact both building materials and unwanted moisture have on indoor air quality. It looks at the amount and type of emissions from a variety of building materials and also how to design to limit unwanted moisture. This course is part of a six-part series that presents practical guidelines for designing healthful indoor environments. Each section can be taken as an individual course.
