The study of failures equips the competent design professional with increased knowledge, leading to more successful achievements. If designs are to be successful over time, all sources of failure must be considered, including the potential for misuse, neglect, and other operational errors. This course presents examples of operational errors that led to failure and offers guidance on how to avoid them. This course is part of a six-part series that investigates the sources of building failure. Each section can be taken as an individual course.
