Improving Building Performance Case Studies Part II: New Mexico K-12 Public School Districts

Format: CE Course
CE Info: 1.00 HSW LU
Contact Info: Customer Service (customerservice@ncarb.org)

Description:
Although cursory in nature, an indicative post-occupancy evaluation (POE) provides an indication of the major failures and successes in a building’s performance, and points to issues that deserve further, more in-depth investigation. Through the use of a case study analysis, this course reviews the indicative POE process, evaluation criteria, and lessons learned in the use of an indicative POE. Also reviewed are the key strategies used to reveal the administrative and architectural changes necessary to improve an evolving system using an indicative POE. This course is part of a four-part series that reviews case studies on how to improve building performance. Each section can be taken as an individual course.
